Pedata RV Center cites LoJack Auto Theft Recovery Report indicating that the installation results in 90% recovery rate of stolen vehicles.
Phoenix, AZ (Vocus) — Pedata RV (http://www.pedatarvcenter.com/) Center cites the LoJack Auto Theft Recovery Report indicating that installing LoJack in vehicles provides consumers with access to the indicated 90% recovery rate. Pedata RV Center sees increased consumer interest in protecting the investment in the recreational vehicle on the part of many consumers in the recession; especially as more consider full time RVing.
LoJack Corporation released its first official auto theft recovery report. The report highlighted recovery rates and statistics throughout 2009. According to the latest data available from the FBI, auto theft remains a major issue.
Auto Theft Statistics for 2009:
-956,846 vehicles were stolen in total. 411,444 were not recovered resulting in losses of $6.4 billion.
-In comparison, when considering vehicles with LoJack installed there were 11,382 vehicles recovered. This represents 90% of all vehicles stolen with LoJack installed.
Gerard Pedata of Pedata RV Center suggested, “RVers are definitely considering the possibilities of theft. In today’s market people want to protect their investment. In addition to LoJack recovery systems RV owners often consider trailer hitch locks and dogs. Although…with a 90% recovery success rate backing it up there really isn’t a more effective method to protect your investment from theft than getting your RV (http://www.pedatarvcenter.com/rv-sales.html) protected by LoJack.”
LoJack is a recovery system designed to allow police to track and recover a vehicle once it has been stolen. LoJack units are hidden in the vehicle by certified technicians. Each LoJack installed is registered in the LoJack database. Once a stolen vehicle report is filed with police a silent radio signal is sent to the apparatus installed within the stolen vehicle. It automatically activates the LoJack transmitter hidden in the car. The LoJack transmitter provides police with a signal to track in order to locate the stolen vehicle.
Pedata RV Center offers used RVs (http://www.pedatarvcenter.com/database/inventory.asp) direct to the public at wholesale prices. Their low overhead costs in the midst of the recession have enabled them to continue to provide high quality RVs to consumers at affordable prices.

Self Storage Company, located in Salt Lake City, Utah, today announced that it has increased the coverage of its self storage meta search tools by adding eight additional sites to the four states included in its original launch. Joining California, Texas, Florida and Colorado are state sites for Arizona, the District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Virginia.
(PRWEB) March 17, 2010 — Self Storage Company, located in Salt Lake City, Utah, today announced that it has increased the coverage of its self storage meta search tools by adding eight additional sites to the four states included in its original launch. Joining California, Texas, Florida and Colorado are state sites for Arizona, the District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Virginia.
This step reaffirms and strengthens the basic concept; a fully featured meta search tool specifically for customers seeking the best self storage locations in their neighborhood or across major areas in the United States. The search tool operates on a state by state basis. Customers seeking storage units can browse city-by-city listings or search by zip code or street address.
“With so much to choose from, it is difficult for customers to be confident they have gotten the best deal possible on a self storage unit,” said Mark Landes of Landes Corporation, a self storage operator and developer. “Most people find extra storage in one of two ways; they drive by a storage yard in their neighborhood, or they look on the web. It is hard to know whether you have gotten the best unit for your needs and the best price on it.”
The Self Storage Company websites give self storage customers a powerful combination of features. These include a comprehensive list of all the storage yards, a powerful search facility that shows the closest storage units on a clickable map, unit sizes and rates, as well as real-time availability checking and online reservations. Self Storage Company plans to add additional customer features, including the ability to “shop and compare” – a tool that enables customers to immediately compare unit availability and pricing on up to four storage facilities at a single glance. The request-a-quote feature enables businesses as well as residential customers to receive quotes tailored to their specific needs for single or multiple units of the same or different sizes.
Self storage providers will gain increased visibility from their free basic listings on the sites. Self Storage Company has already compiled comprehensive listings, complete with location and contact information. Participating providers can receive qualified leads. Where their own systems support the capability, customers can immediately view their available listings and make instant reservations. Premium listings and advertising opportunities are also available.
“I appreciate what Self Storage Company is doing,” continued Landes. “Anything that makes a better customer experience helps our entire industry. Making choosing a self storage facility easier makes it more likely that a customer will rent one.” Vendors needing to increase their business can join lead generation and advertising programs that will increase their visibility and resultant web and walk-up traffic. Self Storage Company websites provide a basic listing for every self storage facility that can be identified.
The eight new self storage locator websites provide Arizona self storage (http://www.storagearizona.com/) seekers with 884 facilities in 77 Arizona cities including Phoenix, Tucson and Temple. There are 21 facilities for District of Columbia self storage and 1511 facilities across 397 cities for customers needing self storage in Illinois (http://www.storageillinois.com/), with an extensive list of Chicago self storage facilities. In the east there are 557 self storage Maryland (http://www.marylandstorage.com/) facilities in 121 cities including Baltimore, Rockville and Silver Spring , 553 self storage Massachusetts (http://www.massachusettsstorage.com/) locations in 192 cities covering Boston and the surrounding area as well as cities such as Framingham, Leominster and Marlborough. For New Jersey residents there are 731 facilities with self storage in New Jersey (http://www.storagenewjersey.com/), covering 245 cities including Cherry Hill, Edgewater, Hackensack and Trenton. New Yorkers can find 1231 facilities in 385 New York self storage (http://www.newyorkstorage.com/) cities, including New York city, Brooklyn, the Bronx and the Long Island area. For residents of the Old Dominion there are 998 Virginia self storage (http://www.storagevirginia.com/) locations in 182 cities including Richmond, Alexandria and Falls Church .
Self storage providers interested in participating in premium or advertising programs should email the Self Storage Company in their state. Self Storage Company is a premier provider of independent self storage search tools. Self Storage Company websites list only reliable self storage providers in convenient locations, particularly in major population centers. Its search tools enable customers to find the best and closest self storage, from urban metropolitan areas to remote locations. The company is located in Sandy, Utah.

What are car wheel configurators? These are website tools enabling users in the market for custom rims to view a set of wheels on their vehicle on-line. Customers are able to visually “test fit” rims on their vehicle. “The configurators provide customers with an excellent visual representation of our aftermarket wheels on their car or truck,” says Terence Scheckter, President of TSW Wheels.
How do the car configurators work? Customers first select their car or truck, then choose the wheel style and wheel finish. The result is a clear visual representation of a set of TSW custom wheels on their vehicle.
What features have been added?
(1) Save and upload images of the vehicle and wheels combination: After selecting their car or truck and preferred custom TSW wheels , users can now save and download images of their chosen vehicle and wheel combinations. They can save the image to their computer for later viewing, email the image to family and friends who may weigh in on their wheels purchase decision, or print the images and take them to their local wheels dealer
(2) Enlarge wheel images for detailed viewing: By clicking on the plus sign located on each wheel image at the bottom of each configurator, customers can now see enlarged, high quality images of the aftermarket wheels. High resolution images of wheels enable the customer to view the wheel close-up, assisting them with their after-market wheels purchase decisions.

Off-roaders rejoice – now they can get parts for their ATVs at the same quality location they’ve been getting their Jeep, SUV, and truck parts for over 40 years. 4 Wheel Parts has expanded their already huge inventory by incorporating ATV tires and wheels into their off-road catalog.
(PRWEB) March 15, 2010 — 4 Wheel Parts (http://www.4wheelparts.com/), the nation’s largest distributor of tonneau covers, Smittybilt products, and other off-road parts for Jeeps, trucks, and SUVs, has taken on their next big challenge: ATV tires (http://www.4wheelparts.com/atv-tires-and-wheels.aspx) and wheels. Also available in stores and over the phone, online customers will be able to get perfect fit ATV wheels and tires every time thanks to the 4 Wheel Parts tire and wheel finder. And since this is a new product, 4 Wheel Parts is offering free shipping for a limited time on all ATV tires and wheels.
Most people who own a truck, Jeep, or SUV also own a secondary off-roading vehicle; this often comes in the form of an ATV. Off-roaders know that ATVs offer a lot of benefits that standard off-road vehicles don’t. For one thing, they’re lighter, which means they can tackle areas that may be inaccessible to larger vehicles. Since the rider straddles it like a motorcycle, they get a wider range of movement. Plus, they’re cheaper. ATV tires and ATV wheels cost significantly less than their beefed up counterparts for trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs.
“We’re excited to add the ATV line of wheels and tires,” said JD Childers, Internet Brand Manager at 4 Wheel Parts. “We’re known for our off-road truck and Jeep wheels and tires. Now we’ve entered the Powersports market and we hope to provide the same quality products and service.”
When a customer heads to the ATV section on 4WheelParts.com, they’ll be asked to select some basic vehicle information including the year, make, model, and drivewheel type. The filter will then display all of the ATV wheels or tires that will fit that specific vehicle, saving the customer from the hassle of browsing through endless selections of tires and wheels. At that point the customer can choose to filter by brand, riding type, diameter, or price.
In addition to making it as easy as possible to find the right tires and wheels for each ATV, 4 Wheel Parts has secured a great selection of top manufacturers. Customers can choose from ITP, STI, Maxxis, Super Swampers, and Kenda ATV tires. Then they can complete their tire and wheel package by selecting STI, ITP, or XD series wheels.
They have seen such success with the addition of ATV tires and wheels that 4 Wheel Parts plans to delve even further into the ATV market. Next up: ATV towing components and other accessories for all terrain vehicles. As they continue to grow within the ATV industry, 4 Wheel Parts will be establishing themselves even further as the source for off-roading aftermarket parts.
4 Wheel Parts offers competitive pricing on all ATV tires, ATV wheels (http://www.4wheelparts.com/atv-tires-and-wheels.aspx), tonneau covers, winches, and much more. To get more information on these off-road parts, call 877-474-4821 or visit www.4WheelParts.com.
About 4 Wheel Parts: 4 Wheel Parts has been a leading provider of tonneau covers, leveling kits, and other off road vehicle parts for over 40 years. Start outfitting your all terrain vehicle with ATV tires and wheels at http://www.4WheelParts.com.

Pedata RV Center sees a notable increase in the amount of interest coming to local lots from out of town guests (mainly snowbirds).
Phoenix, AZ (Vocus) March 12, 2010 — Pedata RV Center sees a notable increase in the amount of interest at local sales lots and online sales outlets due to the seasonal influx of out of town visitors. Many call the seasonal visitors snowbirds as they enjoy the mild winters and typically leave the area before the intense heat of summer sets in. Snowbirds are arriving in higher numbers in comparison to last year according to the Arizona Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds.
The group is reporting that the campground occupancy is averaging 30% in comparison to last year’s 10% average. Many campground managers are indicating that they are seeing more snowbirds extending their stays through March/April. Industry leaders suggest that reasons for the drastic rise in campground occupancy could be due to: the strength of the Canadian dollar, the improving stock market or affordable fuel prices.
Gerard Pedata of Pedata RV Center suggested, “Pedata RV Center has noticed a large increase in lot traffic. A lot of out of state people and a large amount of Canadian folks are spending time looking at RVs (http://www.pedatarvcenter.com/); the snow birds have arrived. More lot traffic and an upswing in Arizona RV park business mean more possible RV sales. Hopefully this is a sign of what 2010 will have in store for RV sales in Arizona. In January Pedata RV Center saw a 50% increase in sales over 2009.”
Pedata RV Center offers used and new RVs direct to the public at wholesale prices. Their low overhead costs in the midst of the recession have enabled them to continue to provide high quality RVs to consumers at affordable prices. Local lots as well as online inventories provide for the needs of consumers looking to adopt the RVing lifestyle.

The Mobility Conquest wheelchair accessible motorcycle (http://www.mobilityconquest.com) officially launched at the NMEDA Conference in Reno, Nevada.
(Vocus) March 13, 2010 — The Mobility Conquest wheelchair accessible motorcycle made its debut to the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (http://www.nmeda.org) members at the 19th Annual NMEDA Conference February 10-12, 2010. The conference attracts and educates members from all around the US each year to explore the broad range of opportunities available to dealers. The conference provides educational, professional and business development opportunities to dealers and members as well as serves as a venue for introducing the latest technology, services and industry trends in the mobility industry.
This year, the Mobility Conquest was officially introduced to the mobility industry. Two wheelchair accessible motorcycles were available at the show, with one available for test-drives in the parking lot of the Grand Sierra Resort. Dealers were provided with the opportunity to sign up to represent the bike. For consumers, this means additional opportunities to view and test-drive the Mobility Conquest wheelchair accessible motorcycle (http://www.mobilityworks).
In addition to the opportunity to represent the bike in different markets across the country, dealers were also offered the chance to take the Conquest on a test drive. Kevin Lowry of Mobility Works in San Jose, California found his ride particularly exhilarating, as he had not been on a motorcycle in over 34 years after a motorcycle accident at the age of 19 left him a paraplegic. Lowry broke his back in a flat track racing accident in which another motorcyclist ran over him. The last street bike that Lowry had ridden was in 1976. The closest he had been to riding was when he strapped his feet to the pedals of an ATV with a bungee cord.
Lowry noted several benefits to the Mobility Conquest wheelchair accessible motorcycle. For one, you do not have to leave your wheelchair; you simply roll into the back of the bike. Lowry was also pleasantly surprised at the amount of power the bike has to offer. The only drawback that Lowry found in his test-drive was that he wasn’t able to get out of third gear in the parking lot – he simply didn’t have enough space. The ride brought back a flood of memories for Lowry and left him only wanting more.
Other dealers at the NMEDA Conference were also impressed by the power of The Conquest. Jeff of Autocrafting in Upstate New York stated, “The Conquest is surprisingly powerful. When you hear the bike is modified for people in wheelchairs, you might think it lacks power, but that is not the case. I can assure you that after riding it at NMEDA. My mind is racing with all of the opportunities this bike offers my store.”
The Conquest has also generated a large response from the media. In addition to being featured on CNN and News Channel 5 in Cleveland, Ohio, The Conquest will be featured in the magazines Sports & Spokes, Quest and New Mobility.
For more information on The Conquest wheelchair accessible motorcycle, visit the official website at http://www.MobilityConquest.com. You can also find them online through FaceBook, YouTube and Twitter. The Conquest will also be featured at numbers expos and bike events across the nation. Check the website to find the latest dates and event information.
About Mobility Conquest: Mobility Conquest was founded by Bill Koeblitz of Mobility Works, in partnership with Martin Conquest of the UK. Mobility Conquest will be the only authorized manufacturers and distributors of this powerful, wheelchair accessible motorcycle.
